IAIN ECCLESTON
& THE BLUE HORIZON
Despite his young age, Iain Eccleston (of ROWSE fame) is an amazing blues/rock guitarist with a lot of talent to share with
the world and with a mature blues voice that will "fool" you into believing he's a man of twice his age.
Iain put together THE BLUE HORIZON, a 5-piece band in 2009 to play live the material he wrote for their debut album "DEATH ON A DESERT PLAIN" which is due out digitally on MOJO RECORDS LIMITED in early 2010. It's a beautiful album showing Iain at his best. Includes a cover version of "Have You Ever Loved A Woman" (Fleetwood Mac) on which Iain shines both vocally and musically.
The band can be found gigging in Central London so you better watch out for this amazing live show.
BROTHER
GUERRILLA
An unplugged Acoustic Act, with the support of MOJO RECORDS LIMITED, UK in October 2009, Monticello, Florida songwriter musician MW SIMPSON has been writing and jamming, favoring acoustic, vocal harmony, folk rock and roots music. The plan is to do some songwriting and eventually play out when the acoustic project matures, possibly as a duet. Meanwhile the band is preparing for the purpose of serving USO entertainment for Our Troops..........The name, Brother Guerrilla Productions is part of Our Mission Statement out of respect for our warriors and their brothers in arms. Brother Guerrilla believes strongly in USO entertainment for the troops, bringing the spirits back to mentally and physically wounded soldiers through programs like 'Wounded Warrior'..... SIMPSON is hopeful that the opportunity to perform as THE BRUISED GRASS BAND©, DUO, BROTHER GUERRILLA© or SIMPLEMAN© will present itself soon, their application for USO duty has been submitted and is being reviewed. There's a lot of work to be done, many souls to be mended....... BROTHER GUERRILLA, aka The Bruised Grass DUO or "SIMPLEMAN©"... all are side projects of North Florida's Simpleman Music; it's a songwriting partnership that morphed into an acoustic music project for USO touring and unplugged events. You can also find more demo postings at that site as well........ Check out www.myspace.com/thebruisedgrassband................. I recently played the 1st Annual Pops at the Pond for Ovarian Cancer Benefit at Willow Pond in Monticello, Florida. These recordings from that venue (LIVE at POPS) here are for your enjoyment. Thanks!
ROWSE
Rowse formed as an acoustic duo when
Jamie McCathie and John Hughes met at Art school in Somerset, after a relocation to the big smoke, the two decided to give their existing material an out and out rock makeover, and quickly added lead guitarist Iain Eccleston and drummer Simon Edwards to the mix in February. After extensive rehearsing and gigging they finally found a sound to call their own and are currently looking forward to a bright future with an aim to stay creative and keep on writing.... They are a highly original 4 piece influenced by the best in blues, folk, rock and country, they play their own blend of original foot tapping acoustic blues rock music and pride themselves on explosive, passionate live shows.
Andy De Rosa &
Electric Mojo
Founder Andy De Rosa refers to his writing as "When British Rock meets American Rock ‘N Roll/Blues/Funk and Roots Music…".
Electric Mojo was formed in late 2007 when Andy wanted to take his music on the road under a full rock 'n roll outfit. He recruited Marc Helliwell on bass and Neal Thomson on drums and hit the road.
Influenced by the classics, Andy experiments with new sounds, creating an eclectic mixture of rootsy rock 'n roll, blues and funk. Electric Mojo have been gigging extensively in 2008 and 2009 and have released their debut album "Unscathed" on 31.10.2009 on MOJO RECORDS LIMITED. Sheena Rowley
Sheena Rowley is a singer/songwriter from North West England who has always been passionate about music. There are country, folk, blues and rock influences but it is difficult to categorise her music. Lucky enough to be born into a musical family, she has been writing, busking, playing the guitar and other instruments since childhood. She has been in many bands but has gigged solo for a few years.
Some highlights include singing for Hard Trance producers Hemstock & Jennings at a large nightclub and recording her version of their dance-chart hitting single ‘Mirage’ that they asked her to re-work; Supporting Glenn Tilbrook (from Squeeze); playing a regular solo slot at the Comedy Store and playing at a few festivals.
She has extensive recording and gigging experience and has performed live on radio; UK and Thai stations. After graduating from University, her travels in Australia and Thailand took her gigging and busking in all kinds of different venues. Since then she has had airtime on Internet radio with her song ‘Fire In Your Eyes’ and has been generating much interest. This track has now been mastered by us at Mojo Records Limited and can be streamed in our Media section.
